At JJCurated, every collection begins with a place, a material and the people who understand it.

We work closely with independent designers, artists and specialist ateliers whose knowledge has often been refined over generations. Many of these relationships began during our travels through Thailand, where we encountered workshops and objects that stayed with us long after we returned home.

We visit the places where the pieces are conceived and made, speak directly with their creators and follow their journey from raw material to finished object. Some are shaped, cast, carved or polished over many weeks and months. The traces of this process are not concealed. They are part of what gives each piece its character.
